Labyrinths – Jorge Luis Borges

I haven’t finished reading all of the stories and essays in this wonder of a book – it’s one to take slowly. At the end of each story or essay, I have to take some time to process and just figure it all out! The way Borges writes about and twists time, space, philosophy, maths and just about everything is mind boggling. A few of my favourites are: The Library of Babel, Theme of the Traitor and the Hero and the Lottery in Babylon. The stories are so clever; I find myself looking up essays written about each story by people cleverer than myself just in order to understand the basic elements of the book!! A must read for anyone interested in stretching their minds to the limit!
